Not sure if I will come to a pub meeting, one of my resolutions[1] is to get plenty of sleep, and NWRUG tends to preclude that. As does GeekUp. As does, in fact, anything staged in a pub. Strange that. (None of my resolutions involve coding though, is that a good thing or a bad thing? It's not too late to add something work-related...)
