[Frank]: Your can treat all the hosts as routes. But gateways are still needed 
for all the hosts for inter-subnet connections. And these gateways are 
configured and located in NVEs and within same L2 domain of hosts. That's why I 
think the IP address collision between gateways exists. In addition, I think 
there can be several options of how to treat and handle hosts' traffic, just 
like the previous discussion in this thread. For example, we have Non-IP 
traffic and intra-subnet traffic. I think switching function is suitable for 
them.
