Agree. For non-IP traffic , Layer2 forwarding is the only choice. For 
inter-subnet traffic, Layer3 forwarding is the only choice. For intra-subnet IP 
traffic, Layer2 forwarding is the current mainstream choice, but Layer3 
forwarding may be a better choice in some cases.
