All, I have a request that I hope some of you might be able to point me in the right direction. I have a SQL 2008 r2 server running on Windows 2008 R2 that I need to have a DB located in an encrypted folder. The server does not have a TPM chip and we don't want to use a USB stick so Bitlocker is not looking like an option. Because it is a SQL DB I don't think EFS would be a good option either. Have any of you had any experience with any 3rd party applications that can perform encryption on a folder level?
Thanks, Eric
