Update to Trend that is killing MSE? Just a guess. Disable Trend and see if that helps.

I also have TrendMicro OfficeScan on these machines and it is starting ok. I have a mix of Windows XP and Windows 7 workstations running. Why is this occurring all of a sudden? We have had this set up for 2 years now. I am confused by what I am reading on Google. And to just start now is not really sitting well with me.
