Hi, We have some prototype code that does this:-
cluster = pfring_zc_create_cluster(getpid(), 1536, 0, 32768+256, get_cpu_numa_node(get_current_cpu()), 0); q = pfring_zc_open_device(cluster, "zc:eth0", tx_only, 0); ...and then goes on to write data using the non-burst API. This works fine on PF_RING v7.4.0 on Centos7. On PF_RING 7.4.0 on RHEL 6.10, the pfring_zc_open_device () call returns null, and errno is set to "Socket operation on non-socket". Thoughts? A.
