I’m probably doing something blatantly stupid here, but for some reason when I
read a packet capture file into ntopng (Windows) I get no data displayed in the
web interface
- I am running ntopng from a command line, redis is running as a service.
- I start ntopng with “/c –i filename.pcapng”
- ntopng starts, churns for a few seconds and then says “No more pcap files to
read”
- I go to the web interface and no data is there – no hosts, no flows, no
conversations…..
If I run ntopng and point it to a live interface on the computer, it works just
fine so I know my installation is OK.
What am I missing here? (Yes, I did read the manual J )
