It seems fprobe does not work properly abd there are no packet arriving at ntop 
host with dst port 2056. now what can I do? 

also I've got nprobe. do yOu recommend me using it instead? can you give me a 
nprobe tutorial with useful examples please?

Use netstat –an | grep 2056 and
ensure ntop is listening on 2056
 
Use tcpdump to ensure packets are arriving
at ntop host with destination port 2056.

I want to use
fprobe. my router is in 192.168.1.1 and my ntop machine is 192.168.1.17. sO I
did like this: 
fprobe -i wlan0 192.168.1.17:2056

but it doesn't show anything and all the graphs are gOne!!! what should I do?!
