Hi experts
My computer has 1 intel nic with e1000e driver on it. If my linux computer could not test the Zero-copy (does not have two NICs), and DMA (below min. linux kernel requirement), what other pf_ring option can achieve better performance than standard linux network programming like epoll? What is vanilla pf_ring mention in this link http://www.ntop.org/products/packet-capture/pf_ring/ ? Does it mean no driver require to load after insmod pf_ring.ko? How does it achieve faster performance than linux methods like epoll with pooled pre-allocated memory? Best Regards Bryan
