Check setup-en.pdf for valid arguments in MkIV.
There are no options for \startlocalfootnotes and there is no command
such
as \setuplocalfootnotes. So how does one setup a conversion (or manual
numbering) for localfootnotes?
\startlocalnotes[footnote]
\setupnotation[footnote][numberconversion=...]
...
\stoplocalnotes
