Hi Stefan, I didn't know about \Word. It retried your example and it works as is in my version of ConTeXt, which is an earlier one that yours it seems. [Your other enumeration example, with way=bychapter etc., works the way you want, too.] Sorry, I don't think I can help. Perhaps one of the more expert users can verify whether it works or not.
