Hi,

I'm using code from the last example on /Automatically Centering Verse/ from the wiki's verse page <https://wiki.contextgarden.net/Text_blocks/ Environments/Verse>. I understand that, to discern its longest line, a poem has to be considered in its entirety.  My question is, is there a way to horizontally center a left-aligned block while also ensuring that stanzas aren't split over page boundaries?

The MWE uses the text from het Wilhelmus. At the bottom of the first page the fourth couplet is the first to split over two pages.

Any sugestions would be much appreciated.
