is it possible to build a complex pedigree\genealogy tree with ConTeXt,
like in LaTeX with genealogytree?
Or what possibilities are there?
There’s nothing ready-made (AFAIK, yet).
You can try to use the old "charts" module (see charts-mkiv.pdf) or the
mighty "nodes" module (see nodes.pdf).
You will probably need to dive into MetaPost.
At FrOSCon 2023 someone came to the DANTE booth and asked for a way to
use GEDCOM genealogy data, since GRAMPS’ diagrams are ugly. We found
LaTeX’s genealogytree package plus a converter was a good fit.

For someone fluent in MetaFun and Lua and knowing ConTeXt’s XML features
it would be probably not a very big deal to make something usable… Not
me (besides lack of skills, also only marginally interested in genealogy).
