If it helps, I managed to build a Docker image containing LMTX and run that under NixOS. I’ve added Docker build instructions to the Wiki here: <https://wiki.contextgarden.net/Installing_ConTeXt_LMTX_into_a_Docker_container> In order to build that container on NixOS I had to update /etc/nixos/configuration.nix as per the instructions in this StackOverflow answer <https://stackoverflow.com/a/56769456> and then use “nix-shell -p docker”. Thereafter the “docker build ...” etc commands all worked as expected.
