* Following libfuse 3.0.0, all writes are big. Many distributions have been testing this since forever, so this should be safe now. * Following libfuse 3.6.0 (commit 027d0d1), the maximum write size is lifted to 1 MiB. The max safe volume size mechanism has been modified to calculate a safe max_write instead. This will also make external libfuse deployments safer, as they might have been inadvently exposed to the situations that our limitation was to prevent.
--- My mail client is acting up, so please excuse me and use the link: https://github.com/AOSC-Dev/ntfs-3g/commit/2900f2226a7368707333b91d2cb1610f3d7eee30.patch I manually cherry-picked most of 027d0d1 into libfuse-internal for the larger write limit. The big_writes default change was done by only modifying src/{low,}ntfs-3g.c.
