Hi,

Reading the docs for Direct Code Execution (DCE), I noticed that we can use
either the NS3 TCP/IP stack or the Linux Kernel IP stack.

We have a need to simulate not only application-level protocols (socket apps) ,
but also running code in Linux at Layer-2 (MAC level) and layer-3 routing
protocols. It looks like there has been previous work at simulating routing
protocols, but if we have a kernel module installed that implements a
particular layer-2 protocol, is this possible to simulate ?

Thanks!
Randy
