hi all,

i am working on ns2 and i have simulated a network with 20 nodes and its a
wireless network, and i have simulated two
scenarios : with alternate paths to the destination and without alternate
paths.

i have used tcp reno and tcp traffic is only in the network .

parameters are :

window size = 20 packets( set window_20)
window constant_ 4
packet size=1000 bytes

the simulation time is 1000 seconds and once i run with alternate paths and
then with non -alternate paths and have
computed the throughput at every second , the point which i am not getting
and for which help is needed is that in without
alternate paths throughput is coming 20000 bytes/sec and in alternate paths
its 40000 bytes/sec

now my question is that y in alternate paths scenario more throughput is
coming ? althought everything is same i mean
parameters

can anyone help me with the reason please !!

help needed!!

thanks
