I have a quick question regarding routing overhead. How do we count routing overhead if the received data packet is zero? In my case, the received data packet is expected to be zero due to a sparse network, but I still need to calculate the routing overhead. I just want to know how to count the routing overhead for zero received data packets or do we considered the routing overhead as zero as well. A quick response is very much appreciated.
