Hi, Version is : 10.1.0-2 Ubuntu 10.10. and also verified the function definition and is defined in /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/twisted/internet/base.py This is the output of find command. $ sudo find / -name base.py
/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/twisted/persisted/journal/base.py /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/twisted/internet/base.py /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/apt/progress/base.py But I do not get clue why that error is coming.
