### Task Summary `amber/src/main/python/core/architecture/handlers/control/assign_port_handler.py` implements the `AssignPort` RPC on the Python worker: for an input port it registers the port with its schema, materialization storage URIs and partitionings, plus one reader channel per URI; for an output port it registers the port with a single storage URI.
