GitHub user mistercrunch added a comment to the discussion: The `flask-talisman` package is largely unmaintained and alternatives should be considered
Would be great to open an issue on their side as to: * have maintainers clarify the state of the project * understand the workload/backlog required to keep the project healthy * open a call for maintainers? maybe some of us could raise their hand to help out (?) Personally I would be against merging in the code to maintain as our own as it doesn't serve the wider flask community. I'd much rather go and help out maintaining the lib if the workload is contained. My guess is that it's fairly feature-complete, and probably needs limited attention to align with the evolution of browsers/standards in that area. As for switching to an alternative, clearly this would likely be a breaking change and not ideal to our own community. Primary selection criteria outside of feature coverage would be project long term stamina :) GitHub link: https://github.com/apache/superset/discussions/31764#discussioncomment-13045084 ---- This is an automatically sent email for [email protected].
