Ryan McLean commented on LIBCLOUD-542:
--------------------------------------

To find the issue i had to step through the code with PyDev. It would be nice
if there was a bit more info as to where it could find a match.

I also noted a lot of the code said:
if service_name and endpoint.service_name != service_name.

which i find a bit confusing as service_name will always equal service_name as
they are the same variable.

When stating cannot find endpoint perhaps adding some detail such as Region
Mismatch or service name/type not found would be helpful.

> We are using the OpenStack driver against our own cloud server.
> This is the code we use for connecting and retrieving a list of images:
> fg_compute = driver(USERNAME, PASSWORD, host=STACKHOST, port=8774,
> secure=False,
>                     ex_tenant_name=TENANTNAME,
>                     ex_force_auth_version='2.0_password',
>                     ex_force_service_name='nova',
>                     ex_force_auth_url='http://%s:5000/v2.0/' % STACKHOST)
> images = fg_compute.list_images()
> This used to work until we switched to the latest trunk code today; now
> getting the following error message:
