Hi @orangeCatDeveloper, thank you for the clear root-cause analysis and suggested fix. I would like to take this on. I will follow your recommendation and schedule the cyclic delay in milliseconds (instead of truncating with `intervalMs / 1000` and `TimeUnit.SECONDS`), so a short collection no longer drifts the interval early. Please let me know if anyone is already working on this, or if you would prefer a different approach.
