There are convenience calls to google classes such as Charsets, Objects,
.collections. etc.
The google methods that are used return plain old java, so they just make the
code look more complex than it really is. In addition, it would just be nice
to get rid of an unnecessary dependency - if that is the case.
This is a really simple refactoring task that anybody with basic java knowledge
should be able to handle.
