URL: https://github.com/apache/couchdb/issues/1713#issuecomment-435984845 If push come to shove it's possible to add `-os_mon start_disksup false` into `vm.args` to prevent `disksup` from starting at all. Why is it such a big deal? iirc we do not set alarm handlers on any of os_mon processes, so those are nothing, but harmless log warnings.
