You *must* upgrade to CouchDB 1.7.1 at the very least, see https://blog.couchdb.org/2017/11/14/apache-couchdb-cve-2017-12635-and-cve-2017-12636/ As for Erlang version, R16B03 is the lowest we support. We recommend 18.3.4 or later. Finally, ensure you are using `libmozjs185`. I believe 1.6.1 didn't support earlier, but just in case. Are there any errors in your `couch.log` file?
