Some news. I now have a test setup that I?m happy to give people ssh access
to, that simulates the problem well enough and allows us to observe CouchDB a
little closer while this happens. Please get in touch, if anyone here would
like access to such a setup.

appears to solve the problem of piling up processes stuck in
`{couch_httpd_multipart,maybe_send_data,1}`.
We?re now looking at testing this patch in a production environment that
exhibits this issue.
