Agreed. Hadn't started thinking about this yet. Just wanted to build the
support into RFile first.
bq. turn it on, only new ingest and files that get compacted would have the
info. If you turn have it on, then turn it off, new data would not have it and
compactions would not write it back out
This brings up a good point. Through the hypothetical client API, perhaps we
could return some info that the histogram is incomplete (when we see that we
touched a file which did not have the information computed).
