Hi and sorry in advance for this very basic question:
I got a module login.js which should create some token and provide it to
other modules.
So my idea is to create a variable token and a function genToken(callback).
----------------------------------------------------
var token = "";
function genToken(callback) {
token = "blabla";
callback();
}
module.exports.token = token;
module.exports.genToken = genToken;
-----------------------------------------------------
Now I'm trying to use this in my main code:
-----------------------------------------------------
var login = require("./login");
function continuef() {
console.log("Token is:" + login.token);
}
login.genToken(continuef);
-----------------------------------------------------
The token-Variable is always "". I would have expected the change would
take effect. How should I implement this?
