If you are interested in learning node I beg you not to take a detour into PHP. 
It is a completely different mindset and learning PHP will not help you learn 
node; quite the opposite really. I come from a background of many years of PHP 
programming, and I think I did it pretty well too, but I'm really glad to be 
learning node now instead.
