The PAGE Scientific Organising Committee (SOC) has opened 4 vacancies and is
seeking applications to be a member of the SOC.

As a member of the PAGE SOC you are expected to be active in the preliminary
discussions of the scientific program (September-November), to be available for
reviewing abstracts and selection for oral presentation (typically during the
month of March and first part of April), to volunteer to chair a session at the
PAGE meeting (June), and be willing to commit to a 5-year term.

Given that the PAGE program is primarily built on selection of the submitted
abstracts, this is an important task. As an SOC member you are only concerned
with the scientific programming, not with the logistics of the meeting itself.

To qualify you need to show you have been a regular PAGE participant and
confirm that you are able to take on the tasks of an SOC member.

Applications are open to anyone who meets these criteria, regardless of
geographical location.

In your application you are asked to provide a written justification why you
feel you are suitable (around 150 words) along with a list of PAGE meetings you
have attended and a curriculum vitae showing your qualifications, employment
history and record of publications.

Please submit your application by email to
i...@page-meeting.org<mailto:i...@page-meeting.org> with 'PAGE SOC application'
in the email subject header by 15 October 2019.

After the application deadline, we aim to decide on new members in time for
them to be operational in November-December 2019.
