Regards Masoud We have an immediate opening for a Research Associate / Research Scientist with a background in the area of clinical pharmacology, drug metabolism and/or pharmacokinetics to collate, analyse and model physiological, biological and clinical data and assist with the expansion of the paediatric and pregnancy modules within the Simcyp Simulator. The candidate should be familiar with searching literature, data collation and analysis, in vitro-in vivo extrapolation and the ADME properties of drugs. The ability to critically review literature and conduct meta-analysis of collected data is an important requirement for this position. Evidence to show critical assessment of protocols and carrying out research independently will be considered a plus. The post holder is expected to provide on-going customer support and contribute to education and training activities specifically related to the use of the Simcyp and Simcyp Paediatric Simulator and to act as tutor on the workshops. The successful candidate will join an internationally recognised, multidisciplinary research team, providing opportunities for further development of knowledge and skills. The post does not include routine laboratory or clinical work. We offer a unique and exciting mix of academic and commercial environments which encourage regular attendance at scientific meetings as part of our continuous education programs. *Requirements*: *Essential * · PhD or equivalent experience in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology or related disciplines. · Hands on experience of pharmacokinetics in relation to paediatric and pregnancy populations. · Familiarity with modelling and simulation principles of physiological and biological systems and parameter estimation techniques. · Demonstrable skills in literature search, data compilation, and analysis. · Demonstrable communication skills, as evident by presentation at scientific meetings, and good interpersonal and organizational skills. *Desirable* · Experience in PBPK modelling and simulation. · Some knowledge of in vitro in vivo extrapolation techniques. · Scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. · Experience of working within Quality Assurance procedures and guidance. *Company Overview:* Simcyp is part of Certara, a company which combines sophisticated research and development informatics with the power of predictive science methodologies to span the drug development spectrum and offer pharma a previously unavailable ‘end-to-end’ solution in the quest for improving human health.
