The 8th PAGIN Workshop (2016) Workshop on Data Analysis using NONMEM ACTREC- Mumbai
We are pleased to announce the “Workshop on data analysis using NONMEM” organized by Population Approach Group of India (PAGIN). PAGIN is a non-profit group in India, devoted to sharing and furthering knowledge and skills in Population based data analysis. PAGIN conducts annual workshops, and has held seven workshops so far. These were received well and appreciated by the NONMEM learning community in India. PAGIN is hosting its eighth training course, “Workshop on data analysis using NONMEM” from 1 to 3 of August, 2016 and registration is now open. Workshop Theme: The hands on workshop will teach participants how to analyze pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data using NONMEM. This course is designed with both basic and some intermediate level contents. Although this course can be taken by beginners with no previous experience of NONMEM, we welcome those who have limited past experience and wish to expand their knowledge base as the present course has significant intermediate level components. Course Faculty: The course will be taught by a group of young and dynamic faculty experienced in the area of pharmacometrics. Dr. Ayyappa Chaturvedula, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacotherapy, University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC), Fort Worth, Texas, USA; & Dr. M. Surulivel Rajan, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal University. Dr. Ramachandra & Dr. Jayaprakash, DMPK Scientists, Novartis Bio-medical Sciences Limited, Hyderabad will join as the resource persons to help the participants in the hands on exercises. The course will run for 3 days comprising lectures and hands- on computer sessions. Participants are expected to bring their laptops for the hands on sessions to maximize their learning experience. Software will be provided in a flash drive which can be run in the computer without loading the program on to the systems. Sessions will be interactive and problem-based using real datasets.
