as mentioned below can you use `-c` to tell nginx the configuration
which should be used.
nginx -c nginx-instance-001.conf
nginx -c nginx-instance-002.conf
...
nginx -c nginx-instance-nnn.conf
The files an share some common settings or not, that's up to your
concept how you plan to run nginx.
