Hi Francis, Wow, this gets stranger......who have cracked it for me....but i have no idea how or why it got there!
there were symlinks in website1.com and website3.com roots public directories for phpmyadmin - symlinked to /usr/share/phpmyadmin. I never noticed them though as they didnt appear as a folder when browsing the public folder structure with an FTP program. Only doing as ls on /website1.com/public did it show it. Removed symlink to /usr/share/phpmyadmin in the 2 root folders and now i get a 404 page if navigatng to /phpmyadmin.....Perfect! :-) As you can probably tell im primarily a Windows admin and Linux knowledge is limited, thanks to people like yourself though im learning! PS - Index.php does exists in the public root folders - but the file belongs to WordPress. PPS - You say: > if ($http_cookie ~* £PHPSESSID"){ >If that is a copy-paste of the config file, then it probably won't match >some things that you would want it to. Could you elaborate on this please if you have time? Thankyou for your time and help Francis, its most appreciated.
