Is there a problem with how the configure script is setup in 1.6.12? It is not
possible
to build on CentOS 5 and CentOS 6. I have seen various threads that talk about
installing
new autoconf packages, building on newer releases, etc., but everything was
fine with
1.6.11 -- what changed that would break builds? I am looking at backporting
patches into
the 1.6.11 unwrapped tarball to see if I can work around this, but perhaps
there is a
simpler solution in the packaging step? Normally you do not need autoconf on
target
systems, only on the system generating the configure script.

[mnagel@colby nfdump-1.6.12]$ make
(CDPATH="${ZSH_VERSION+.}:" && cd . && /bin/sh
/home/mnagel/nfdump-1.6.12/missing autoheader)
/home/mnagel/nfdump-1.6.12/missing: line 81: autoheader: command not found
WARNING: 'autoheader' is missing on your system.
         You should only need it if you modified 'acconfig.h' or
         'configure.ac' or m4 files included by 'configure.ac'.
         The 'autoheader' program is part of the GNU Autoconf package:
         <http://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf/>
         It also requires GNU m4 and Perl in order to run:
         <http://www.gnu.org/software/m4/>
         <http://www.perl.org/>
make: *** [config.h.in] Error 127

Thanks,
Mark
