For decades now, the increasing significance of the immaterial parts of tangible things has been the subject of legal research. As dematerialisation continues, this book aims to illuminate the opposite movement: rematerialisation, namely, the return of data, knowledge, and power within a physical ‘smart’ world. This development frames the book’s central question: can the law steer rematerialisation of the IoT in a human-centric and socially just direction? After analysing how existing laws can be interpreted to empower end users, Noto La Diega’s book concludes with a call for collective resistance against ‘smart’ capitalism. *You **can register here <https://apps.eui.eu/EventRegistration/Home/Login?eventId=559114>.* *The joining details are** circulated upon registration.* *A chapter in open access taken off the book is accessible here <https://www.taylorfrancis.com/books/mono/10.4324/9780429468377/internet-things-law-guido-noto-la-diega>.* Sincerely, The InfoSoc WG Coordinators The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.
