In June 2021, Switzerland decided to collaborate with Amazon, Alibaba,
Oracle, IBM and Microsoft to build its national cloud. All of the
Confederation’s data will be stored on servers owned by these North
American and Chinese multinationals as a result. But why not store Swiss
data on a Swiss cloud? In the French-speaking part of the country,
several companies are taking action.
