I solved my own problem.  I borried a 3com disk off of my friend and found
that there was an irq conflict, so I changed irqs and works great now.
Thanks all.

Also, I was wondering if anyone can suggest any nice IDEs (except Kdevelop)
that I could try out.  Thanks a lot.
