Some of the new Arm hardware running RiscOS (e.g. the ArmX6 and Titanium) has a multi-core processor. So far, of course, RiscOS lacks the ability to make use of the extra potential.
Question occurs to me: what's the situation with the other platforms on which Netsurf runs -- Amiga, Atari, etc? Does multi-core ability exist in hardware there? Do the Netsurf developers have ideas for how Netsurf could take advantage of the extra processing power when the OSes allow it? -- Jim Nagel www.archivemag.co.uk
