The first digit of the port is getting overwritten by an extraneous colon for some reason. It ends up as (I rationalised the credentials): https://user:p...@server6.spellings.net::083/frontend/x3/mail/addfwd.html ^ Then it tries to resolve "server6.spellings.net:" as the hostname. Chris
