sounds promising.  a look at file:///choices:www/netsurf/choices shows 
that the RO version does indeed use the same names for these values.

but i don't know what our equivalent of your  ./nsgtk  command would 
be.  in fact i don't think i've ever heard of RO commandline calls to 
Netsurf before.
tried these with no luck:  *ns  *nsriscos   *nsro   *nsacorn
