oops, sorry, Geoff (possibly).

your message got trapped by one of my spam filters, the one that acts
on names of banks in subject lines. without thinking, i fired off my
usual semi-automated report to Spamcop. only then did i recognize
your name.

i don't think you'll get a knock on the door at 5am or anything, but
in future i shall be slightly more aware, i hope.

the Co-op Bank has also "improved" its online site. you now have to
type in secret digits from a magic keyfob gadget in order to log in.
and remember to carry the gadget on holiday in case you need to check
the balance. and when you get there, the transactions show in one of
those aggravating little Windoze-type panelets that you have to
scroll, while all round it is acres of blank white screen. grrr.

haven't yet tried the new site with Netsurf. always had to resort to
XP Firefox for the old one.

best wishes. --jim
