Is this a septic tank that I have fallen in?

Anyhow I am delighted, apparently, to be the first to make a pledge. I
do hope it does better than the pledge I made to RISC OS Ltd to produce
a version for the Iyonix.

I can remember the days of nearly 40 years ago when I did a bit of
programming. It was hard. There is so much that one has to keep in
one's mind at once. I just do not think that non-programmers have any
idea what they are talking about when they pitch in at the odd
programmer. And I've given up serious programming now, it is too
difficult for me.
