As per the replies to your comment, it appears to be working again now. However, I'm wondering if the timeout period within NetSurf can be extended/customised by the user at all. As people know, I've been developing some printer driver software for the big Xerox printers, and as part of that, I've got some code which will launch a window to NetSurf, so that you can upload "walk up" jobs to the printer without having to rely on the Javascript/Active-X code in the printer web front-end. When you start sending a (very) large file to the printer, it can take 5-6 minutes transferring data, but recently NetSurf has been timing out, thinking the remote site is not responding. Unfortunately, the printer doesn't send a response until the whole file has been uploading (often >200MB or so), which is confusing things and often an error such as "Broken >pipe" is given. I've got a temporary way around this by browsing to the printer's web front-end whilst the print job is transferring and randomly clicking on links or refreshing, which seems to fool NetSurf into thinking the remote site is still responding, so the other window doing the file upload doesn't time out. It would be good if there was an option to extend/disable or otherwise customise the period after which NetSurf decides to timeout.
