[Snip] Single tasking

A lot of the single tasking appears to occur trying to fetch stylesheets,
particularly if they don't exist.

It should quit eventually, it seems some operations aren't stopped e.g.

www.play.com

When the base of the window shows :-

OK (n.ns) 3/4 stylesheets 0/0 objects OK (n.ns) Converting 556 bytes

A 'Quit' as this point appears not to work but the program will quit
eventually as soon as it changes to 'Processing document'.

I do have a very slow internet connection which may cause fetches to
timeout adding to the problem.
