The issue here is that the nsgtk frontend does not implement the select box form widget. We intend to do this, but it may be a while before we can get it done. In the meantime, if you continue to try NetSurf as your primary browser, any other issues you encounter can be added to our issue tracker which can only help to improve the future quality of the software.
