I have this problem since I first tried to use suspend. The first kernel I tried was 2.6.13 I guess. Since that time I reload the driver, then I do not know if it works with kernel 2.6.14, 2.6.15 or 2.6.16 without reloading.

Not yet.  Did it use to work with an older tg3 driver or
kernel?
