Hmm, I'm still confused... - I submitted a patch for strict interpretation of SSID lengths, which got upstreamed - I have _not_ made a patch yet to revert that patch, nor has it been reverted upstream. I offered to do that, however. So as it stands, upstream has the patch for strict SSID lengths. Should we back that (initial) patch out or not?
