Hello,
I was told to e-mail here for this issue.
I have kernel 2.6.14.4 with skas patch. My computer is
AMD. I have 2 ethernet cards eth0 & eth1. eth0
connected to the local network and eth1 connected to
the Internet. I am trying to run UML or KQemu machines
available on the local lan. What I did is add a
bridge, remove the Ip address from eth0 put the Ip
address on the bridge, Add eth0 to the bridge. I set
the proxy_arp to 1 on all interfaces, IP forarding is
enabled. As soon as i finish the setup, I am able to
connect to eth0 interface from the other computers on
the network. It works fine until I start sending data
across to the bridge IP address. Basically, I VNC to
the ip address of the server and as soon as I do that
my VNC window gets stuck and I am not able to send and
receive any data to eth0. I am not sure what's wrong
but it seems that it's a kernel issue. Thank you in
advance for your response.
